Fool Us: No Tricks, I Just Do It

In Season 2 of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" I fooled Penn & Teller and made Penn pretty mad about it. The performance video went viral and made a huge difference in my life.

Invited back for Season 5, I decided to do something different: 

If you're curious about what was going through my mind and what went on right before filming, my wife, Amy, and I discussed what we were feeling, just four hours before showtime in Las Vegas.

Penn gave the analogy that magic is distinct from juggling. In juggling, you do the thing you're saying you're going to do. Whereas in magic, you say you do something, but you don't actually do it. Magicians only create the perception of something. In this case, I worked on creating the reality of it. Penn's juggling background made him realize that what I was doing was no trick or gimmick.

I absolutely adore and respect these guys. They are two of the world's best magicians. But beyond that they are artistic, clever and so inspiring.
