Kostya Kimlat is a magician, mentalist, speaker, and expert in the role perception plays in business.
But Kostya wasn’t always “The Business Magician,” traveling the world to inspire audiences.
When he was nine years old, his Ukrainian-born family started over, seeking opportunity in the United States as Soviet refugees. The family settled in the Orlando area.
After arriving, Kostya saw a magic special on TV. He was blown away. So his father invested $160—no small sum for the new Americans—in an 8-volume book set so Kostya could learn magic.
His dad’s $160 investment led Kostya to:
