Why The Virtual Magic Show is (Surprisingly) Here To Stay
As a professional magician, I can confidently say that virtual magic shows are not just a temporary solution to the pandemic, but they are here to stay. When the pandemic hit and in-person gatherings were restricted, I, like many other performing artists, had to get creative in order to continue entertaining audiences. I discovered virtual magic shows as a solution for me, as a performer, to continue engaging with my audiences remotely.
Throughout the pandemic, I have had the privilege of performing virtual magic shows for thousands of employees around the world. And let me tell you, the reactions I get from my virtual audiences are just as powerful and awe-inspiring as those from in-person shows. Virtual magic shows have the power to bring remote teams together, foster a sense of connection and community, and provide an interactive and engaging form of entertainment.
Even as the world starts to return to normal and the acute phase of the pandemic comes to an end, virtual magic shows are here to stay. With the rise of remote work and the realization of what can be accomplished without travel, companies continue to capitalize on this affordable way to deliver high-impact, community-building, and memorable experiences.
What I have found to be the most appealing aspect of virtual magic shows is their convenience and accessibility. My audiences can experience my virtual magic shows from the comfort of their own homes, making it a great option for those who can’t or don’t want to attend in-person shows. Additionally, virtual magic shows can be interactive and engaging, allowing my audiences to feel like they are part of the performance.
For companies with remote workforces, virtual magic shows are an excellent way to bring employees together for an emotional, team-bonding experience. Virtual magic shows, performed by a virtual magician like myself, can be used to deliver high-impact, community-building, and interactive experiences that can foster a sense of connection and appreciation among remote employees.
Virtual magic shows are also a great option for sales kick-offs where large groups have multiple choices of events to choose from. They offer a unique and engaging way to start off a sales meeting or conference, setting the tone for a productive and successful event. In addition, virtual magic shows are perfect for client conferences for companies with clients not in one targeted area. It allows companies to connect with their clients in a fun and interactive way, regardless of their location.
For companies that are fully in-person, or even hybrid, I’m often asked to come to speak and perform to their group at their live, in-person conference as a motivational speaker. But these companies need to keep their energy strong throughout the year. So now, they’re inviting me to engage their team in quarterly virtual team-building sessions and virtual magic shows to bridge the gap and keep energy high between annual, in-person gatherings.
From my perspective, the future of virtual magic shows is looking bright as technology continues to evolve and improve, making virtual performances even more interactive and immersive. And as a virtual magician, I’m excited to be a part of this new wave of entertainment.
